Sometimes a tragic event in our lives can be the inspiration we need to express our feelings. The sudden death of "Bandit" and the effects on our son, Dusten, was the source of many of the songs for this album. Because of our loves for horses, we became involved with the Horse Rescue, Relief and Retirement Fund, Inc of Georgia, founded by Cheryl Flanagan, "A True Angel of the Horses".

My wife, Kim, encouraged me to record an album of horse songs to benefit Cheryl's organization and other charities.
