Pepper

A cute little chihuahua wandered up to Elaine's house a few weeks ago. After putting out the word, a family came and said he was theirs and took him home. She told them to make sure they got him chipped or at least a collar with tags. As it turns out, they took him, but then brought him back and said they didn't want him (nice, eh?).

She already has 7 dogs, and they are not very friendly, so she cannot keep him. He is 5 pounds, 2 years old and mature for his age (not a chewer and good in the house), housebroken, and very friendly, even with the kids. But as she said, he is terrified of her other dogs.

Belle

This little girl stole my heart. She's a blonde medium sized dog. Her mother is more in the 40-45 lb. range. The Mom showed up pregnant and all the puppies and Mom have homes, so it's Belle's turn. Please check out the pictures of Belle that were taken last week. She is adorable and loving, she will bond with you and make a great companion. She currently is staying in a home with three small children and is fine with them. So a family with children is fine as long as the kids understand that puppies and dogs can be fragile. She's fully vetted. Belle is a very good dog, pretty much housebroken, she lets you know when to go out. She sleeps in a crate at night. She is very gentle and calm for a 5 month old puppy and also very smart and a fast learner. She seems to be good with other dogs too. She is approx. 5 months old. . Please contact me if you have an interest in meeting Belle. She is living in a temporary home and I will bring her over for a meet and meet for anyone interested in giving her a loving, forever home. Please forward to others as that helps so much. Thanks.

Buddy- needs Foster Home or Permanent Home

Buddy was found during the snow storm cold, wet and hungry. He is a Shih Tzu mix and is a delightful companion. He is a real trooper and is always up to go with you anywhere. At home, he is calm, enjoys playing with squeaky toys, and sleeping at the foot of your bed. He is looking for that special someone that can give him all the loving care he so deserves. Buddy is about 5 years old.

Bailey

Bailey needs a home! Bailey is a rescue and I cannot keep him much longer. I love the dog but already have one and live in a condo which makes dog walking a must - that is, I can't just let them out in the yard. They are too much in my little bitty space. Bailey is really a sweet dog. He is funny and very loving. He is even a lap dog! He does need a yard b/c he has lots of energy. YOU may not need or want a dog, but you may have friends who do. Please forward the ad and keep forwarding until July 15, 2009. If I don't give it an end date, I will be getting calls 5 years from now :) I will drive the dog as far west as Alabama's west border, as far north as Nashville, as far south as Florida and as far east as the Atlantic Ocean.

Minnie

I found Minnie foraging for food in a commercial area. She had a belly full of milk and I didn’t see any sign of puppies nearby so I watched her for a few days. I checked with a couple of folks nearby who had also seen her without any puppies. About a week later I found her again with less milk and decided it was time to take her in. It seemed she had either been dumped without her pups or they were old enough and she had moved on. She’s been with me now for a little over three months and what a change!! This emaciated sweet pup has blossomed into a beautiful, healthy young lady! She is loaded with energy and LOVES other dogs! She’s like curious-george and a real easy-go-lucky dog. She loves my cats and only wishes they would play more with her. She’s not much of a ball player but she loves to chase the ones who ARE chasing the ball! She would be a great dog to run with if that’s your pleasure but anything active would suit her. She’s smart and so, so sweet! She’s not a barker and is house broken but will need to go to a home who believes in crates as she’s still learning the ropes and would be too overwhelmed with too much freedom while her “people” were away. Luckily she was heartworm negative and has since been fully vetted, spayed and chipped. We think she’s @ 2 years old and she was only 35 lbs last we checked. She has this prance to her gait almost like a walking horse and is such an endearing little girl! She would be best in a house where she has some room to run outside ideally with another canine friend but at least with owner/s who regularly get her some exercise…whether it’s visits to the dog park, doggie day-care, walks, runs, hikes, whatever! Minnie is such a sweet, kind hearted little girl who needs a place to call her own!!
Please let me know if you're interested in meeting this sweet girl and if you are not in the market for a new pup PLEASE forward this e-mail on to anyone else you think might be interested!!
Thanks so much in advance for your help with this pup!! She will really make a great addition to her new home!! Contact: molly.adams@mindspring.com.

Lucy

LUCY FOUND A NEW HOME

Due to financial difficulties, we have to leave our house in Lawrenceville, GA and move out of state (6/17). We will no longer be able to provide for our dog, a 6 year year old Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix. She has been spayed, but needs shots. We have attempted without success to find a new family for her. Can you help find her a new home? She has been 100% outside her entire life, so a place with a fenced yard or farm would be great.

Roscoe

Roscoe is an 8 year old neutered male. For more information contact Cheryl at horseinc@aol.com
