Mingo
Sponsor this Horse   Adopt this Horse
Mingo is a 12 year old Pinto gelding. He was just purchased by a college student who planned on trail riding then Mingo was diagnosed with EPM. The student could not afford the treatment and brought him here so we could treat him. We are looking at a good prognosis for Mingo and he may be able to be ridden in the next few months. Mingo could use a foster home or a permanent home if you would like to share your life with this beautiful horse.
Donations appreciated to help pay for Mingo's expensive treatment. Thank you.

Gus
Sponsor this Horse   Adopt this Horse
Gus is a nine-year-old registered paint. He is very talented and athletic, super friendly, totally sound, barefoot, goes english and western. Gus is VERY smart. I have been riding my whole life and he is very challenging to me. He requires structure and confidence, and ground work every time before you get on. He is an AMAZING athlete, he has a rocking chair canter and can practically canter in place. But he likes to come up with new "tricks," so you have to be a very good rider or else you might get scared. He has so much talent. I have taken him on many trailrides, and in two parades, and to horseshows, and riding in the mountains camping. He does everything. Please contact by Email

Red Coat
Sponsored by: Kimberly Lewis of Alpharetta, GA   Adopt this Horse
Red Coat is a 4 year old Thoroughbred gelding who came from Monmouth Park. He has 8 bone chips in his right knee from a racing injury. He walks and runs sound. It will take time to see if he will ever be riding sound. If we didn't make space for him, he would have been sent to slaughter along with many thoroughbreds who are not winnings in the race game. He is extremely handsome with wonderful conformation. He needs a foster or permanent home. Contact by Email

Cody

Brave
Sponsored by: Wanda Pettus of Lexington, SC   Adopt this Horse
Brave is a Hanovarian Warmblood gelding. He is 14 years old, 16 hands. He was trained in Germany and came here three years ago. He could be a wonderful riding horse but he is in need of intensive farrier work on his feet. Past owner neglect has put him in this condition. He is an absolute sweetie and will capture your heart, If you have some patience and can wait until he's better to ride, he is your man. Dom

Dom is a handsome spotted donkey. He is about 14 years old and gelded. He is sweet but untrusting to new humans. He needs a loving patient home. He is pretty good for the farrier. He is not easy to catch but comes for food in a stall. Just taking your time with him is best. He loves his butt rubbed but he is afraid if you touch his ears. He is about 13 hands and is not aggressive to other horses.

Dynamite is about 14 hands. He is a 26 year old, black roan racking horse but was ridden just for pleasure as a trail horse. His health is good. He loves girls; he really doesn't like males but he does okay with small boys. He has not been ridden in a while so would need some warm up but is very well trained. He has been out in a pasture with cows for 5 years. He does well in a stall too. Not destructive. Has good manners. Doesn't bite or kick. Contact by Email

ARE YOU A PONY PERSON?

We have ponies that need to be trained and worked with. If you have time, they can be your project. You can come here to the farm or bring them to your home to work with them at your leisure. Both have been ridden very little.
