Coco Puff
Sponsor this Horse Adopt this Horse
Coco Puff is a very cute little Buckskin pony gelding, He foundered and had been neglected. He had 12 inch hooves when Animal Control found him.
He may be about 20 years old. He wasn't claimed by his owners, most likely for fear of being arrested for neglect to this sweet little guy. He needs
a controlled diet and not too much pasture. I would say he is not ride able but he is quite loveable. He would be perfect for a special needs child
who could love and brush him all the time.

Jubilee

Jubilee is a pretty mare was found on a highway. She was very frightened and it was obvious she needed food. She is underweight but safe
in a temporary foster home now. When the Sheriff arrived, he recognized this horse. He had warned the owners to take better care of her on more
than one occasion. She was tied to a couple of tires with a 6 foot rope to keep her from going to far but she somehow made it to the road. There
are rope burns and cuts on her legs and an injury on her fetlock. Jubilee needs a home where she can be nursed back to health and learn trust humans.
She is afraid on being hurt again.

Solo
Solo is desperate. He needs a new home for the New Year.
Solo is loved by his owner but due to health problems which is causing her financial problems, Solo
must find a good home ASAP. She borrowed money to pay his December board now it will be due again. Can
you provide a permanent or even a temporary home for Solo? The rescue is over-flowing with horses or we
would welcome him here. Now at this time we are asking for your help.
Let me tell you about Solo.
His registered name is Skip's Mytee Solo. He is a very handsome 17-year-old Appaloosa gelding, 15.3
hands, approx 1100 pounds. He has high end ring bone in his front right leg so he is not rideable. I think
a young child could be walked on him in a pasture but that is his limit for now.
Otherwise he is in excellent condition. Solo falls in love with mares but can be a companion to a
gelding as well. He has a cribbing collar if needed but he is not a compulsive cribber.
He is supplemented with a daily wormer. With regular vet check ups, should he colic, Pfizer will pay $5,000
towards colic surgery if needed. This is with PreventaCare insurance and it is free.
Solo is sweet and loving, with lots of personality and will make a wonderful friend to the right
person. He loves to be brushed, petted and given treats! He's been treated like an only child for many
years and would love a best human friend to smile and enjoy life with him.

Sponsor this Horse Adopt this Horse
Khatarina is 22 and was shown in western pleasure. She has not been ridden in over two years. She needs someone who knows what they are doing or
she will try to take advantage. She will test you. However, in her currant physical condition I would not recommend anyone riding her. She does
not do well outside in the winter. Spring grass, warm weather, she will be ready for a good exercise program and trail riding.
Khattoo is very green. She is 17 years old. She has only been ridden a few times. she leads well and is very friendly and playful.
She loves to toss her head and be silly.
These two Arabian mares are mother and daughter. We would love to place them together, if possible.

Katrina
Sponsor this Horse Adopt this Horse
This is Katrina, ASA Kat. She is an 18 year old bay Paso Fino mare. She is very underweight
but gaining. She came to the rescue farm through Tennessee through Chance's Mini Horse Rescue.
Since they do not do regular size horses, I agreed to take Kat. She was even thinner before
Susan from Chance's picked her up. She was also being ridden, in that condition! Kat was
supposedly miss placed during Hurricane Katrina and ended up in Tennessee. If anyone recognizes
her, please contact me. It is amazing what stories come attached with the horses. Our biggest
concern is what happens to her from now on. She needs love and care and plenty of TLC. She is
available for adoption or foster.
